I think the Mathletes is the best band name ever. If I ever have a band, that’s what it’s going to be called. The t-shirts would rule.

You’re stealing my band name bit!
Still, it’s a good bit. And so is your band name. I would buy a t-shirt.
Kevin,
I was so pleased to see your interview with Brian McLaren in PRISM. It’s fabulous.
And I totally agree with you about Anne Lamott’s spotty presence on the Internet. Kathleen Norris is like that, too (I’ve tried to stalk them both and found very little).
I just assume that they’re private, and let their publishers do all the marketing. (I know that shouldn’t prevent them from having an organized website to promote their writing, but it does). Or, because they’re “older” (around 50), do they just not use the internet? Maybe their rhythms of life and writing are very non-computery.
Hi to Abby!
Sorry Kevin, the best band name ever is “Tommy and the Cruisers” for a 50’s & 60’a oldies band. Of course I may be biased as I am one of the members of the band and I came up with the name. Uncle Doug
Sorry kevin but the name “The Mathletes” is taken. “The Mathletes” is a soloist on asaurus records http://www.asaurus.org/records/bands.html for more info. sorry about crushing your dreams…
