U2 iPod adYou may have heard U2’s latest single “Vertigo” backing the latest iPod commercial, and you may have noticed the members of U2 rocking out as those signature silhouettes on colored backgrounds. You can catch an extended version of the ad from Apple. How long until someone has some desktop images from that video?

The first U2 album since 2000, How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb, releases on November 23, 2004.

  3. If you have a PC, it’s either “Print Screen” or ctrl+print screen, and then that copies it, and you go paste it into whatever.

    If you have a Mac (I do) then it’s the Apple (command?) key and shift and four, and you just select whatever you want and it saves it as a .pdf file on your desktop. I was pausing it in iTunes and taking screenshots.

  4. My real question is how do we get full-size graphics to make desktop images? I know you can take screen shots, but they’re only so big. You either have to stretch them or add white space (in this case orange, purple, green or whatever color space) all the way around to fill the screen. I would guess Apple or U2 would have to release desktop images.
