That incredible sucking sound you hear is the final installment of the Matrix saga hitting theaters. Matrix Revolutions opens today, and critic after critic after critic after critic say it sucks so bad it blows.
I’m eager to see for myself, but after the disappointment of Reloaded, I’m not that eager to slap down big cash to see a bomb in the theater.
Kevin, I don’t know how to feel. I am still excited to see it and have expected it to be a bomb or revolutionary (excuse the pun) and I am more curious to see what I’ll think. Apparently there are redeeming qualities about it, but I was hoping the creativity of the first would be repeated in the last. Maybe not. Anyway, I will still see it tonight and fork over my share of moolah to the Wachowski Brothers’ millions.
I went to see it last night. I’ll reserve my opinion until more people have seen the movie, but let me say this: The theater erupted into laughter at least a dozen times during the film. As my one friend put it, “They made an action movie, then a romance, and now they’ve made a comedy.”
I just got back from watching the matrix. I thought it was pretty good.
