A Day for Change
January 20th, 2009
Today was an exciting day for our nation. Today was an exciting day for me. Today I watched with a group of my coworkers as the first black man was sworn in as President.
There are so many reasons why today makes me happy but this image sums it up.
That and something I’ve seen written in several other places –
Rosa sat so Martin could walk.
Martin walked so Barack could run.
Barack ran so my children could SOAR.
