Today we closed school at 12:00 because of the looming “snow storm”. Tuesday we had a lot of snow towards the end of the day and the buses dropped the kids off at home pretty late. (One bus didn’t even get to school until 4:00.) Anyway, I guess the bus drivers didn’t want to risk driving in the snow and listening to parent complaints today so they canceled the second half of the day. Funny thing - I think it only snowed for about 30 minutes today.

Oh well. I got to go out for lunch with friends, and go to Christmas shopping with Lexi so I’m totally on board with pretend snow days.
