Green Bay
We went home to Green Bay this weekend. My brother graduated from high school last week and so we went back for the big shindig. It was fun to see people again. I don’t think I’ve been home since around Christmas time.
The highlight of the weekend was not the graduation party, however. The highlight was getting to see the kittens that my mom and brother rescued from a window well at our house. She found 4 kittens and with the help of my brother and his girlfriend, they nursed them back to health (well, 3 out of the 4 survived) and found them homes. Two of them were getting picked up the same weekend we were in town so we got to play with them for a couple of days. They couldn’t stand Speak at all - it was really funny to watch them around the dog. But other than fighting the dog, they were pretty cute.
Here’s a couple of pictures. The black and white one was named Kit Kat but her name is now Belle and the other one was named Mittens but since the found out it was a boy it’s name has been changed to Boomer.

Boomer pouncing on his shadow.
Oh my goodness. There is something so completely, unstoppably wonderful about outstretched fuzzy kitty arms hugging something. And then on top of that you’ve got the kitties hugging each other, which causes some kind of exponential thing to happen.
I think that’ll fulfill the cute quota for a few months.
