Good thing you guys don’t spend any $ on VD, cuz it’d cost you more anyway:

Ummmm, isn’t it a couple weeks before V-Day still? So how do you know you aren’t going to do some technically coupley thing that costs money around then? Not that I’m huge on big V-Day events, but still, a little something is always nice.
Because that’s all we ever spend on Valentine’s Day. Since we got married we made Valentine’s Day a $0 adventure. We’re only allowed to give gifts that cost nothing. Hence homemade creations or baked goods or cleaning out the car.
I suppose last year was our only exception–but it doesn’t quite count. I was out of town for Valentine’s Day (so we technically didn’t spend any money), but we did go out to eat when I came home.
Love is a path to the heart that knows its own way.
