		<description>Sorry, there&#039;s no way those cards will EVER be worth more than they are today in my humble opinion.  To many people collected at the time they were popular.  A massive amount of people would need to want cards from that era for it to work.  Supply and demand. At this point there is just way, way to much supply.  Funny, kids are still doing that whole collecting thing with other stuff (I think its now the distant descendants of pokeman).

I think the baseball card thing has lost some strength: it was big through our childhood, but it&#039;s started to wane over the past years, I&#039;ve heard collector&#039;s complain, so that might be part of the problem.  At any rate, I can understand your packratish collecting: besides stuff like that, I&#039;d keep the 1st place ribbon I got for the long jump in 3rd grade, etc.
